NFF Head of ICT, Tolu Abe laid to rest

The remains of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Head of  Information Communications Technology (ICT) Unit, Tolulope Abe, who died a fortnight ago was Saturday commited to mother earth at Gudu cemetery in Abuja.

The indefatigable ICT expert died after a complication arising from a stomach surgery last month in Abuja.
Present at Abe’s burial at Gudu cemetery in Abuja were his colleagues in the football house led by the Deputy General Secretary, Dr. Emmanuel Ikpeme who represented the NFF President, Amaju Melvin Pinnick.
Others who attended the short but emotional burial ceremony were the top management and staff of the federation including Director of Competitions, Ayobola Oyeyode and Director of Communications/Media, Ademola Olajire.
Former Secretary General of federation, Ambassador Fanny Amun and Abe’s immediate family members and friends also attended the burial Saturday.
A day ago, the NFF management had organized a befitting Wake-keeping ceremony for their departed colleague at his family house at Kubwa area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) , Abuja.  There, prayers were offered for the repose of the soul of the dead.
Tears were in the eyes of both colleagues and family members especially the widow of the dead as he has finally been laid to rest at Gudu cemetery.
