Revealed ! Why Enyimba fired coach Abd’allah

More facts have emerged why embattled Enyimba International FC have parted ways with coach Usman Abd’allah.

Although a statement from the Chairman of the club, Chief Felix Anyansi-Agwu attributed Abd’allah ‘s sack on a string of disappointing results, investigations have revealed that the players are not comfortable with the coaching style of the former handler.
PromptNews can confirm that Enyimba players have severally protested against the coaching programme of Abd’allah just as they have at many times aired their grievances to the management of the club.
A very reliable club source who knows the internal working of the two-time CAF Champions League winners disclosed that Enyimba players are always complaining of the coaching regime of Abd’allah limiting their performances by restricting them to his own rigid style of play.
However, Anyansi-Agwu has stated that the club believes it must set a new course now and regain its competitive edge, domestically and on the continent.
He also said that “in the interim, Coach Fatai Osho will take over the head coach duties. All other announcements on this subject will be made later”.
According to the Chairman, “This is not a decision we have have taken lightly, nor in haste.
Results and performances since the start of this season have been very unimpressive and the club must take action to forestall further setbacks.
Reading the riot act  Anyansi-Agwu said;
“We are speaking to the players too and they must do better otherwise there will be consequences. As Enyimba we are committed to earning positive results always and we can’t accept nothing less.
“The Club wishes Coach Usman Abd’allah the best for the future and thank him for his service”.
