Nigeria vs Puerto Rico:Busari makes slight change as Yusuf replaces Adesuyi in defence

By Harry Awurumibe, Live in Morocco

True to his promise, Flamingos’ head coach Busari Hakeem Ishola has tweaked his team a bit as Nigeria goes for Puerto Rico’s scalps in a redemption match for both countries in Group B second match at Pitch 4 of Mohammed VI Football Complex in Salè, Rabat today.

Busari has called on steady defender Rodiat Yusuf to replace Elizabeth Adesuyi in the starting line-up in today’s must-win showdown against Puerto Rico, a tactical move to stabilise the Nigeria’s backline which faltered sometimes in the last match.

Yusuf will join the defence alongside usual suspects Azeezat Oduntan, Ohunene Sunday and Esther Stephen to ensure that the Puerto Rico girls do not trouble reliable goalkeeper Jane Ijirigho who some great saves in the last match against Poland.

Also, the Flamingos gaffer retained the midfield-trio of Favour Nkwocha, Tosin Rafiu and Mary Dunstan as well as the three-pronged attack comprising captain Harmony Chidera Chidi, Oluwakemi Adegbuyi and Queen Joseph.
