Nigeria’s Super Eagles this evening defeated their Black Stars of Ghana opponents in an international friendly match played at Stade de Marrakech in Morocco on Friday with forwards Cyriel Dessers’ 38′ penalty goal and Ademola Lookman’s 84′ strike proving enough to win the prestige match.

Ghana’s consolation goal came in 90’+5 when star player Jordan Ayew of Crystal Palace FC of England forward scored Black Stars only goal from the penalty spot with a right-footed shot.
Also, it was a match that Ghana’s Jerome Opoku saw a red card for his troubles as the defender was ejected from the game for unsportsmanlike offence.
The Super Eagles was led in the match by an interim coach Finidi George who was ex-head coach Jose Peseiro and he will also be in the dugout when Nigeria meets Mali at the same venue on Tuesday.
