Again, the Head and Founder of Security and Safety Department of Confederation of Africa Football (CAF), Nigeria’s Christian Emeruwa (Ph.D) has beaten his rival to the gun by being the first aspirant to buy his form to contest for the the soon -to- be vacant post of the President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
Emeruwa, who returned to Nigeria on Sunday from his base at CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt was accompanied by his wife, Jummai to Wuse Zone 2, Abuja Office of the NFF Electoral Committee on Monday morning immediately the Forms went on sale to obtain his copies.
The former Head of NFF Head of Integrity Unit and Secretary to Security/ Safety Committee for many years was well received by the Electoral Committee members at the point of obtaining the Forms.
Emeruwa who is an Alumunus of University of Ibadan, Oyo state where he obtained Doctorate Degrees in Sports Administration and Management and a Fellow of the Institute of Sports Management Australia later went straight to his former office at NFF Headquarters, Sunday Dankaro House Abuja to felicitate with his colleagues before leaving for his residence to complete the Forms. Recall that Emeruwa was the first aspirant to declare for the NFF President post when others were not thinking that the incumbent President Amaju Melvin Pinnick could leave the exalted position at the end of his statutory two terms tenure by September 2022.
