Reigning African champions, Super Falcons of Nigeria have intensified their training after settling down in the palatial Hotel Rihab Rabat, Morocco on Monday even as the team targets first victory in the opening match.
The Coach Randy Waldrum tutored team flew into Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca from Lagos on Monday afternoon and travelled by bus to Rabat just as the team have already held two training sessions as at the time of this report.
Prompt News exclusively gathered that all the 25 registered players participated in the first and second training sessions supervised by the coach who want to make good use of the available time before the start of the 12th CAF Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) holding in Morocco from July 2 to 23, 2022.The American-born gaffer took the players through their paces in the training in conjunction with his assistants just as the goalkeepers coach, Auwal Makwalla drilled the three goalies, Toochukwu Oluehi, Chiamaka Nnadozie and Yewande Balogun.
The team will continue daily training session until the first Group C opener against arch-rivals Banyana Banyana of South Africa in Rabat on Monday, July 4.

Meanwhile, Prompt News can confirm that the Nigeria contingent are yet to undergo the accreditation rituals as officials of the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) are yet to show up at Hotel Rihab camp of the Super Falcons as at the time of this report.
