Goals -machine…Evelyn Badu scored the winning goal for Hasaacas Ladies 2-1 victory over ASFAR
Ghana Champions Hasaacas Ladies of Sekondi maintained their unbeaten record in the semi-final match as they defeated ASFAR of Morocco 2-1 on Monday at the El-Salam Stadium in Cairo to reach the final of the maiden TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League.
The Moroccans looked more threatening on the attack but too wasteful to utilized any of their scoring chances as Sanaa Mssoudy who scored a hat-trick against hapless Rivers Angels of Nigeria came closes to opening the scoring in the 27th minute but choose the harder option to shoot while her teammate waited in position to tap-in easily.
But it was Hasaacas who had the first chance as Doris Boaduwaa headed home from a well taken Perpetual Agyekum’s corner kick in the 36th minute.
Fatima Tagnaout with her impressive run, touches and vision sited an unmarked Najat Badri at the goal mouth who tapped home Tagnaout’s perfect cross to level matters right ahead of the break.
However, it was the usual suspect 19-year, Evelyn Badu who converted the winning goal for Hasaacas Ladies FC off an assist from Doris Boaduwaa in the 77th minute.

The Ghanaian side is yet to taste defeat after four games, winning three games and playing out a 2-2 draw in its final group game. Hasaacas Ladies FC will face the winner of the second semi-final match, Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies FC in the epic final.
The South African champions defeated hard-fighting Malabo Kings of Equatorial Guinea 5-4 in a penalty shootout after both played 0-0 in the regulation time.
