Six pros hit Falcons camp, Nigeria set to beat Algeria Tuesday

With the arrival of a dozen overseas-based Super Falcons in the team’s camp, Nigeria looks set to beat Algeria again when both countries meet in the return leg of the  2020 Tokyo Olympics CAF women’s football qualifiers match slated for Tuesday afternoon at Agege stadium Lagos.

Nigeria holds a 2-0 goals advantage after the reigning African Champions defeat Algeria away in Blida in the first leg last week Wednesday.

But Head Coach Thomas Dennerby has  invited six foreign-based professionals Asisat Oshoala,  Osinachi Ohale, Ngozi Ebere, Francesca Ordega, Sonia Okobi and Rasheedat Ajibade to beef up the squad.

All the six and 18 home-based players who won in Algeria are training ahead of the return leg even as the Super Falcons have trained this Sunday morning at Agege Stadium to show their seriousness in getting a good result on Tuesday.

Dennerby took the players through their paces with the players showing  good attitudes to the assignment at hand.
