Super Falcons training hard to beat France

Determined to get at least one point that will ensure that  Nigeria moves to the Round of 16, Super Falcons Head Coach Thomas Dennerby this morning took his team to a last minute training ahead of tonight’s  crucial tie against France in Rennes.

The team had yesterday completed its training session but Dennerby opted to take his players to early morning training apparently to fine tune the strategies to be used by the team against France this night.

All the players excluding Faith Michael who is still out injured since Nigeria’s first match with Norway trained at Stade Edmond Blanchet in Rennes this morning.

Emphasis was on accurate shooting and conversion of goals which are very crucial for Nigeria if she will get at least one point from the sold- out match at 28, 000 capacity Roazhon Park in Rennes.

The encounter is billed for 8pm Nigerian time and 9pm in Rennes, France.
