Nigeria’s Super Falcons Head Coach, Thomas Dennerby is looking forward to use the last preparatory friendly match between his team and ZNK Pomurji Beltinci, a top Slovenia club side slated for Sunday, June 2 to test the readiness of the African Champions ahead of the 8th FIFA Women’s World Cup which will kick off on June 7 in France.

In a chat with SportsrevelationOnlie, the Swedish tactician hinted that he will use the match assess the readiness of the players and to correct some of the lapses observed in their last match against a Hungarian club side, Halandas Viktoria which they hammered 5-1 last Tuesday.

According to him, ZNK Pomurji Beltinci which boasts of 8 players of the Slovenian national women’s team in its fold will present his players with the needed tough duel to test their individual and collective resolve to withstand the type of challenges the Nigerian girls will face in France this summer.

The Nigeria delegation will depart their Avita Resort camp in Bad Tatzmannsdorf, Austria immediately after lunch on Sunday, and is expected to arrive in the Town of Beltinci, venue of the match by 2.30pm, for the game starting at 4pm Slovenian local time.

All the 23 players, coaching crew and backroom staff will make the bus trip to Slovenia on Sunday. The team will return to base afterwards.
