The Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) clubs have made a clean sweep of the tickets to the next round of the 2025 President Federation Cup with only Kano Pillars being the only casualty as Enugu Rangers eliminated them in the Round of 64 match played at Gwari Mini-Stadium in Abuja.
Aside Rangers that beat Kano Pillars 1-0 to advance to the Round of 32 slated for April 2, Heartland FC of Owerri thrashed Police Machines CP Strikers of Borno 2-0 to qualify for the Round of 32 where they will clash with Enugu Rangers just as the defending champions El Kanemi Warriors defeated Simon Ben FC 3-2 to book a date in the next round with Enyimba International of Aba which walloped El Shama FC from Gombe state 5-0.
Elsewhere, NPFL clubs Katsina United edged out Green Berets FC of Kaduna 1-0; Nasarawa United beat Flights FC Makurdi 2-0 while Bayelsa United walked over EFCC FC of Abuja, the same way Shooting Stars of Ibadan walked over Zamfara United to qualify for the Round of 32.
