Expectations of a full house at the Super Falcons Seville camp brightened Wednesday as two key attackers of the team,Veronica Chinwendu Ihezuo and Uchenna Kanu left their bases in Mexico and United States today to link up with the rest of their colleagues in Spain on Thursday, Prompt News exclusively gathered.

This is even as Stade de Reims of France defender Oluwatosin Demehin who has been held back in Nigeria for almost a week after Falcons left the country because of visa issues has been sorted out by Embassy of France in Abuja. She will leave Nigeria tomorrow for Spain.
Promot News can confirm that both Ihezuo and Kanu received their pre-Games accreditation cards which enabled them obtain Shengen visas from their countries of residence earlier in the week. They are expected to have breakfast in camp tomorrow.
For Demehin, she picked her visa in Abuja on Wednesday evening and is booked to fly out of the city Thursday. She was delayed because she was unable to do her biometrics capturing in France where she is based before coming back to Nigeria on holiday.
It was gathered that she told the federation that she has a running France one year valid travelling documents but when she got to Abuja on the day of departure, she and Jumoke Alani were directed to go to French embassy in Abuja for Shengen visa.
However, when they got there, the embassy told them they have Alani’s biometrics but do not have Demehin’s and directed her to VFS Office in Abuja for biometrics capturing for a new visa which she did but on getting back to the embassy they discovered again that the her international passport number she used to do biometrics was nit correct.
Meanwhile, the arrival of Ihezuo,  Kanu and Demehin in Seville on Thursday and Friday will leave the team with one player less as Russia-based Chinonyerem Macleans who could not process her travelling documents in Moscow due to Russia and Ukraine war will join the team later.
Macleans who is already in Nigeria will do her biometrics at Embassy of France annex in Lagos where her pre-Game accreditation card has been sent to enable her get a Shengen visa but latest information said she now travel to Spain from Lagos having already received the necessary documents.
