Nigeria’s Super Falcons on Thursday morning departed Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa for Abuja after holding their host Ethiopia to a 1-1 draw in the first leg, second round of the Paris 2024 Olympics African qualifiers double-header played at Abebe Bikila Stadium in Addis Ababa on Wednesday.
The delegation led by Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Board Member, Rt.Hon. Margaret Ichen will arrive Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja this afternoon aboard Ethiopian Airlines and go straight to close camping to perfect strategies to be adopted to defeat the stubborn Lucy in the second leg tie billed for Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
Sportsrevelation gathered that Super Falcons technical crew made up of Justin Madugu, Ann Agumanu-Chiejin and Auwal Makwalla are not too happy with a draw in Addis Ababa despite the chances that came the way of the team and are determined to work out a winning formula in the return leg next week in Abuja.
The team will resume training on Friday after takung off a day to shake off jet lag.
