Super Falcons Head Coach Randy Waldrum has settled for his most trusted players as he listed reigning African Women’s Footballer of the Year, Asisat Oshoala; veteran defender and captain Onome Ebi and power-playing forward Desire Oparanozie and goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie in the final roaster of Nigeria’s senior women’s team to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup which kicks off next month in Australia and New Zealand.

Meanwhile, Ashleigh Plumptre, Rofiat Imuran, Balogun, Gift Monday, Christy Ucheibe, and Toni Payne are some of the debutants in the Super Falcons squad.
Nigeria will play Canada, co-host nation Australia and the Republic of Ireland in that order at the biggest-ever FIFA Women’s World Cup finals in history, with 32 teams set to debut at the championship – same number as for the men’s finals in Qatar last year.
