India 2022: Nigeria, Ghana, four others in action as last African qualifying ties hold this weekend

Nigeria’s junior women’s football team, Flamingos and five other countries still in the race for the three available tickets to represent Africa in the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup India 2022 will be in action this weekend as the competition enters the final phase with the fourth round first leg matches.  The competition will be held from October 11 to 30, 2022 in the three cities of Bhubaneswar, Goa and Navi Mumbai.

The three stadiums selected are Kalinga Stadium in Bhubansewar, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa, and DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.The draw will take on June 24, 2022, in Zurich, Switzerland.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian delegation have already arrived Addis Ababa, the Ethiopian capital ahead of the match slated for Friday at Abebe kebila Stadium, Addis Ababa.

Winners over two legs will qualify for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup final
