India 2022: Six Matches on the Card as Nigeria battles DR Congo in 2nd Qualifying Round tie in Kinshasa

After a first round that saw the qualification of Eritrea, Kenya, DR Congo, Senegal and Benin following the withdrawal of their respective opponents, the second qualifying round for the U-17 Women’s World Cup will take place during the weekends of March 4-6 and March 18-20, 2022.

Also, Nigeria’s Flamingos are already in Kinshasa ready to take on DR Congo’s women’s U-17 team at Stade des Martyrs on Sunday in the just as the return leg will hold at Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on March 19, 2022.

There will be five other matches across Africa even as five nations have withdrawn before the second round of qualifiers while CAF have disqualified Kenya which is currently under ban. They are Eritrea, Namibia, Guinea –Bissau, Djibouti and Sao-Tome & Princepe.
