The stage is set as Four-time CAF Women’s Player of the Year Award Winner, Perpetua Ijeoma Nkwocha has arrived for the Draw Ceremony of the maiden TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League holding this afternoon at CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
Sportsrevelation has exclusively obtained a photograph showing the former Super Falcons Captain and Nigeria’s highest goalscorer of all time posing with CAF Director of Competitions, Samson Adamu who will conduct the Draw today.
Nkwocha who won CAF Women’s Player of the Year Award back to back twice in (2004, 2005, 2010 and 2011), was invited to attend the Draw by CAF along two players, Merihan Yehia and Alia Zenouki from the Egyptian club Wadi Degla FC.
The ex-Nigeria striker, won six TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2010, and 2014) with the Super Falcons and ended up top scorer at three editions in 2004, 2006, and 2010 of the competition.
Two clubs from West Africa Zone B, Hasaacas Ladies of Ghana and Rivers Angels FC of Port Harcourt will be in the draw.
