Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) Champions, Rivers Angels and Hasaacas Ladies of Ghana will clash in the opening day of the 2021 CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU-B mini tournament slated for Stade Champroux in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire on 17, 2021.The Pride of Rivers as the club is known in Nigeria will also play the second game of the Group B on July 20 against ÀS Police (Police Sports Association) of Niger Republic.
Also, Hasaacas Ladies and AS Police will complete their second matches on July 23 and after two matches each, teams that come first and second will qualify for the semi final stage.

Should Rivers Angels qualify from Group B, the team will play in the semi final with either the first or second qualifier from Group A.
In Group A, Onze Soeurs de Gagnoa
(11 Sisters FC) of Abidjan will tackle USFA of Burkina Faso in the first match of the competition at Stade Champroux on July 17 just as the Cote d’Ivoire Champions will face Togolese Amis du Monde FC on July 20 in the second match of the tournament.
Also, Amis du Monde of Togo and USFA will play their second match on July 23 to determine the two teams that will make it to the semi final from Group A.
According to the fixture released by the organisers, Group A winner will take on Group B runner up on July 26, the same day Group B winner will confront Group A runner up.
Sportsrevelation reports that the two winners of the semi-final game will face off in the final for the title on July 29, 2021, immediately after the 3rd Place match between the two teams that lost in the semi final stage.
Interestingly, the organisers has announced that the two finalists will automatically qualify as representatives of WAFU-B Zone at the finals of the inuaugral CAF Women’s Champions League in Egypt later this year.
