The much-awaited Nigeria’s national teams new Nike kits will hit retail shops in Lagos on October 1 even as five Super Eagles and two Super Falcons players performed the official unveiling of the kits at the weekend.
Sportsrevelation exclusively learnt that the new Nike kits will be available in retail sport shops across Lagos state
for fans and stakeholders to buy off the shelves.
It was also reliably gathered the kits will be available in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja at a later date due to logistics reason.
The new Nike kits which have now replaced the ‘adire’ stripes launched before the 2018 FIFA World Cup final in Russia was officially launched by seven members of the current Super Eagles and Falcons players.
Super Eagles co-Captain Williams Troost- Ekong (Udinese); Wilfred Ndidi (Leicester City); Victor Osimhen (Napoli); Samuel Chukwueze (Villarreal) and Alex Iwobi (Everton) as well as Falcons Asisat Oshoala FC (Barcelona) and Norway-based Rashidat Ajibade launched the new Nigeria kits via Instagram on Sunday, September 20, 2020.
Sportsrevelation reports that the players conducted the photo shoots themselves in complete compliance with COVID-19 health protocols.
