With sporting activities including football suspended for weeks now across the globe because of the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, one of the greatest footballers in the world, Cristiano
Ronaldo, Portuguese and Juventus FC star, has challenged other footballers to beat him in a new football competition played inside the house.
The novel competition called Livingroom Cup was launched by world’s sportswear manufacturing and kitting giant, Nike on Sunday with their icon, Ronaldo popular known as CR7 throwing the first challenge to football stars around the world to beat him if they can.
This challenge has since been taken by Super Eagles and Leganes CF of Spain defender, Kenneth Omeruo and Super Falcons duo, Desire Oparanozie and Asisat Oshoala have all challenged Ronaldo.
All these are on their Instagram pages just as many players across the world will also have the opportunity to participate in the Livingroom Cup challenge powered by Nike.
Meanwhile, the challenge is all about training at home and working out indoors during this perilous time when the whole world is on lockdown to curb the spread of the novel Coronavirus pandemic ravaging the world population.
