India 2020: Nigeria’s opponent, Guinea, wallop foe, sure of next round

Nigeria’s opponents in the first round of the 2020 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup African qualifiers, Guinea has taken a huge leap towards progressing to the next round after thrashing their opponent, Guinea Bissau 5-0 in the first leg of the preliminary tie to make the return leg billed for January 26 a mere formality.
The result of the first leg has shown that Nigeria’s Flamingos will face Guinea Conakry in the first round of the qualifiers in March with Nigeria playing the first leg away.
Also, Morocco U-17 team went to Djibouti at the weekend to wallop the host 7-0 in the first leg to render the second leg an academic exercise while Botswana was ruthless at home by humiliating Zimbabwe 5-0 in Gaborone.
Tanzania massacred Burundi 5-1in Kampala just as Liberia hammered Niger 4-0 in Monrovia and Uganda beat Ethiopia 2-0 at home to have one leg in the second round.
