Still bersking in the euphoria of Nigeria’s heart warming 1-1 draw with Brazil in yesterday’s international friendly match in Kallang, Singapore,Super Eagles stand-in captain, William Troost-Ekong has given kudos to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and its president, Amaju Melvin Pinnick for arranging the prestige match up.
In several Tweets after the explosive encounter Ekong who was impressive during the match thanked the NFF, Pinnick and everyone who supported the team to measure its strength with Brazil while believing that the future is bright forvthe young team.
“Thanks to @thenff and our President @PinnickAmaju for organising this good test against Brazil last night (Sunday). The future of this young team is bright. I thank everyone supporting us”, Ekong posted on his Twitter handle @WTroostEkong.
Also commenting on the match Nigeria’s goalscorer, Joe Aribo described the game as a tough one and thanked all who supported the team. He put Nigeria ahead in the 35th minute after he was played in by Moses Simon in the Brazilian box.

Meanwhile, Prince Charles Azubuike, Chairman of Charliz Fast food limited at Imopoly, Owerri commended the Super Eagles for the impressive display of the team against the Selecao of Brazil on the night.
According to the London-based hotels/eatry proprietor, “the NFF and its president, Amaju Pinnick deserve the encouragement of all Nigerians to continue to organise this type of quality friendly matches against top countries in the world to build a better Super Eagles that will do Nigeria proud in international competitions “.
