Four African regional representatives qualified for the fourth round of the women’s football tournament of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
The qualified countries for the next round are Cote d Ivoire (West Africa region); Cameroon (Central Africa); Kenya (East Africa) and Zambia (South Africa) respectively.
But at the end of the qualifying campaign on February 9, 2019, only one or two regions will fly Africa’s flag in Japan.

Fourth and Fifth Rounds:
Fourth round first & second legs. Nov. 4 – 12, Nov., 2019
- Cote d’Ivoire vs Cameroon
- Cameroon vs Cote d’Ivoire
- Kenya vs Zambia
- Zambia vs Ghana
Fifth round first & second leg: 13 – 9 Feb ,2020
- Cote d’Ivoire/Cameroon vs Kenya/Zambia
- Kenya/Zambia vs Cote d’Ivoire/Cameroon
Note. Winner of the fifth round qualifies for Tokyo 2020
*Runners-up meets with South America’s runners-up Chile.
