The training session which started at 10:30am local time ended by 12 noon and the players were all looking forward to the next game.

But speaking on the situation the team has found itself in France, Falcons 1st Assistant Coach, Jorgen Peterson argued that it is better to be ready for the next match than to gloat over the last game.

Said he, ” it will be sad to let our heads down now or fail to prepare adequately for the next match only to be cleared to play and we are caught unprepared. This is why the team is training hard still “.

Nigeria with 3 points but with minus 2 goals has been placed in the 3rd place out of four teams to qualify for the Round of 16 by FIFA until the three final group matches are concluded this night.
