Harry Awurumibe, Live in France
Super Falcons of Nigeria received a queenly treatment earlier today as the team was airlifted back to Grenoble to meet Germany for tomorrow’s Round of 16 game in France.
The Nigerian delegation made up of 23 players, coaching crew, backroom staff and  other support officials were on board of the charter flight operated by Eastern Airways made the trip from Rennes Airport on Friday morning.
The one hour flight was direct to Grenoble unlike last week when the Falcons travelled to  Rennes from Lyon after two hours ride  by road from Grenoble to Lyon to catch a commercial flight.
But the situation different today just as it was exclusively gathered in Rennes that FIFA may have opted for a charter flight for Nigeria after it became clear that Falcons have a crucial match against Germany in the next 24 hours against Germany and the quickest way to to take the team to the match venue was to arrange for a charter flight.
Meanwhile the Nigerians are happy for the flight arrangement by FIFA and have  expressed their joy for the gesture.
