After a disappointed outcome of Nigeria’s 1-0 loss to host nation, France yesterday in Rennes, Super Falcons have been given a day off to clear the cobwebs in their heads.

Head Coach Thomas Dennerby who is still in pains over the loss last night told the players to take some time off their tough training regime to relax their minds.

He therefore instructed the players to use the free period to walk around and to go swimming or play indoor games in the Best Western Plus Isidore Hotels, Rennes.

The team returned to the hotel after midnight yesterday and the players and officials are still sad over the officiating of the Honduras center referee, Melisa Paola Borjas Pastrana who they believed gave unfair decisions against Nigeria in the game.

For this reason, the coach has decided to give the players a day off today with serious training resuming tomorrow as the Nigerian team awaits the outcome of the matches in other centers
