With all the 24 teams participating in the 8th FIFA Women’s World Cup in France playing two matches each since the preliminary stage started one week ago, Group A teams will tomorrow complete their three first round games.
The teams that will play their last group matches are host, France which will tackle Nigeria in a high profile match that will determine whether the African champions will qualify for the Round of 16. The encounter will take place at Roazhon Park in Rennes.
France with six points from two victories over South Korea and Nigeria will be looking to end the first round on the high although Nigeria will not be an easy meat. This will make the encounter a tough one for both teams.
In the other fixture, Norway will battle South Korea in Reims in a winner takes all showdown and a win for either of the teams will change the complexion of the tough Group A.
With Nigeria and Norway having equal points behind the leaders, France with six points, this group is likely to go to the wire.
Other groups will play their own third matches from Tuesday and through out the week.
