France vs Nigeria clash: Dennerby, Falcons pray for victory

Apparently to seek for divine intervention for Nigeria’s victory over France in Monday’s crucial Group A last match in Rennes, Super Falcons Head Coach, Thomas Dennerby today led his team in prayers at the end of morning training.

   It is unusual for the Swedish coach to participate in the Falcons usual prayers at the start and end of every training session but he joined and even led the prayers  after today’s training at Stade Edmond Blanchet in Rennes.

“We pray that we (Super Falcons) play well and win our match against France on Monday”,  he said hold hands with his players and other officials.

   Dennerby who was mimmicking the players as they are saying in pidgin english ” come oo, make we pray oo” attracted alot of laughters from his wards.

Meanwhile, the training sessions are going according to plans and the team wil have one more session at the same stadium tomorrow ahead of the sold out clash on Monday at Roazhon Park in Rennes.
