Ahead France/Nigeria clash: African Champions, Super Falcons have landed, take to gym

After an hour flight from Lyon International Airport to Rennes, the Super Falcons have arrived their new Center in Rennes.

The team has also settled down at Best Western Plus Isidore in Rennes after the delegation which left Grenoble in the early hours of today were taken by bus to catch their flight in Lyon.

As expected FIFA Women’s World Cup organisers have been on top of their game to arrange a near perfect trip for the Nigerian team.

Meanwhile the Super Falcons will not take to pitch today after the hard fought battle against South Korea yesterday.  Nigeria won the match 2-0.

It has been exclusively gathered that the team will take to the gym this evening instead of going to the training pitch as the fatigue of traveling from one point to another has taken a toll on the players and officials

The Super Falcons have a few days to rest and train hard for Monday’s clash with France at the 28,000 –capacity Roazhon Park in Rennes knowing that a draw in the encounter will most certainly see the African champions qualify for the Round of 16  in the on-going 8^th FIFA Women’s World Cup finals.
