African Champions have landed: Super Falcons on arrival in Paris today

As expected the Super Falcons have settled down in their Hotel Mercure Center Cathedral in Reims, France this evening but not before the African Champions were welcomed to the city by a handful of the local folks made of young people who were joined in the singing and dancing by Super Falcons players.

The team members were later ushered into their rooms to relax a bit before going for the first dinner in France.

The Nigeria delegation led by Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Head of Women Football, Ms. Ruth David includes the 23 players, handful of coaching and backroom staff. They left Austria at about 15:30hrs today and arrived in Paris at 5:20 pm local time.

The team had spent two weeks of close camping at Avita Resort Center in Bad Tatzmannsdorf, Austria, ahead of the 8th FIFA Women World Cup which kicks off on Friday, June 7. It will end on July 7.
