* Scotland, Jamaica tango today

More France-bound teams are engaged in the last-minute friendly matches to perfect their tactics ahead of the start of the 8th FIFA Women’s World Cup final which will kick off on June 7 with debutants-Scotland and Jamaica squaring up later today in test match.
Only last Sunday, defending Champions, United States of America (USA) pounded Mexico 3-0 to round off their preparation friendly matches with goals coming from T. Heath (11’), M.Pugh (76’) and C. Press (88’) while host country- France on Saturday thrashed Thailand 3-0 the same day England beat Denmark 2-0 in their own Send-off tie.
Argentina had on Friday beat Uruguay 3-1 just as Spain was held to goalless draw by Canada to boost their morale going to the World Cup.
Italy will tackle Switzerland tomorrow in continuation of their preparations even as many other international matches have been scheduled to take place between now and June 6.
Meanwhile, Nigeria’s Super Falcons are still shaping up at close camping at Avita Resort in Austria where Head Coach Thomas Dennerby and his assistants are putting the players through their paces before they leave for France on June 4.
