Ahead France 2019: USA spells New Ze-aland, win 5-0

Reigning FIFA Women’s World Cup Champions, the Untied States of America took France-bound New Zealand to cleaners in an international friendly match played in St. Louis , USA today as the Americans walloped their opponents 5-0.

Team USA showed why they are a class on their own by not only dominating the match but outscored New Zealand with the first goal arriving in the 35′ when Tobin Heath opened the floodgate of goals. Rose Lavelle made it two goals in the 40′, barely give minutes to halftime.

In the Second half of what later became a one-sided affair, Golden Girl, Carli Llyod scored a brace in the 61’and 83′ with another veteran,  Samantha Mewis making it goal number five in the 84′.

Head Coach Jill Ellis and her Super Stars are forward to their Send- off match against Mexico on May 26 before they fly down to France ahead of the June 7 start of the global football fiesta.
