Poland 2026 Qualifiers: Field is complete for 2nd round African qualifiers

The field is now complete for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup ‘Poland 2026′ African qualifiers’ second round matches, which will be held from September 19 to 28, 2025 across the continent as no fewer than 32 countries, including Nigeria, Cameroon, South Africa, Ghana, Tunisia and Ivory Coast have been paired against each other.

The second leg of the first round matches were completed this weekend with Ivory Coast thrashing visiting Gambians 5-0 in Abidjan on Sunday to qualify on 6-0 aggregate, having defeated Gambia by a lone goal in the first leg in Banjul.
Forward Nagèd N’ Guessan scored a brace in the 28′ and 33′ while Yasmine Timitè opened scores in the  4′ with Grace N’dri 45′ and Chylle Priscille Ashley 78′ respectively.
Elsewhere, in Tunis, striker Ranim Ajroud’s 12′ ensured that Tunisia edged Togo 1-0 to qualify on 2-1 aggregate as the first leg tie in Lome last week ended in 1-1 draw.
In Doula, Cameroon, the adopted home turf of Central Africa Republic,  visiting Malawi with a 3-1 advantage in the first leg match in Lilongwe last week rallied to hold CAR to 1-1 draw to qualify on 4-2 aggregate score. Miamouna Daoud put the host ahead in 11′ while Leticia Chinyamula 47′ equalized for Malawi.
